Profile Pics

We will spend the next two days on this project.

Essential Question:  Are there pictures on the Internet that you can associate with your interests, beliefs, thoughts, appearance, and other things that relate to you?

Purpose: The process of downloading pictures from the Web is a very useful skill.  Once downloaded, the pictures can be used for a variety of applications.

Teacher Demonstration:
1. Use Google Image Search
2. Isolate the picture
3. Right-Click and choose to 'Save Picture As'
4. Save within "Profile Pics"

Student Activity: Download pictures for the following topics:

4. Favorite Color
5. Favorite Sport
6. Favorite School Subject
7. Something you're proud of
8. The city which you were born
9. Something that makes you laugh
10. Favorite food
11. Favorite animal
12. The singer or group of your favorite song
13. Favorite TV show
14. Favorite Book
15. Favorite Magazine
16. Your Homeroom

When you are finished, please rename the pictures accordingly, create a window capture, and submit the .JPG titled: "FirstName_LastInitial_ProfilePics" to my School Loop Account.
